What Are Celebrities Reading?

The Readers Society of South Africa is honored to work with Pretoria News in bringing you the “Celebs and Their Books” initiative, which shows you what celebrities are reading every week - all in support of South African literature, and strengthening our publishing industry.

The campaign encourages reading of all forms, ranging from non-fiction, such as news and SA autobiographies, to fiction, including short stories and poetry, to educational materials. Apart from the obvious positive effects of reading on cognitive functioning, as proven by international studies, the Reader’s Society knows that we have such amazing talents in our country, but in the past our authors were forced to seek publication abroad. And we are striving to see that change.
